If my order value is below $200, why is the shipping $20?

Corin, our General Manager published this post recently on Facebook in the “Australian Blacksmiths, Bladesmiths and Knifemakers Network” group in regards to our shipping quotes.

I hope that makes it more understandable why we are charging the prices we do.

How much do you charge for Pre-arranged pick up?

All Pre-arranged Pick-ups are free except grinders, kilns and other high-value, bulky items as they are very heavy and take a lot of space on the pallet. Do I need flashback arrestors for my lampworking torch?

Short answer: yes! We highly recommend to get for your Bethlehem surface mixed torch flashback arrestors on the torch for the oxygen and LPG outlet and on the oxy and LPG regulators. Altogether you need four different flashback arrestors. The flashback arrestors on the torch are longer than the one on the torch.

Don’t risk it- get flashback arrestors. Read this post about an accident that recently happened due to missing flashback arrestors. Join the “AUS/NZ Glass Artist Collaborations & Glass Art Sales  ☮” Group and read the full post here.
