Carbide file guides are used to accurately stop grinding or filing when the desired point is reached. Not suitable for use with Silicon Carbide and Diamond Abrasives. Aluminium oxide and most ceramics will not damage the carbide.
Important: Every effort has been made to keep the file guides as compact as possible to ensure minimum interference with grinder frames. The compact nature however means that over tightening the clamping screws when holding material under 40mm in width can result in failure of the carbide. To hold narrow material, use a smaller file guide, or be very careful not to over-tighten the clamping screws.
There are currently two sizes available.
