The polished ball stake is 2 1/2 ” was designed to withstand the heavy use associated with blacksmithing, armoring, and jewelry making cold and hot steel, copper, brass, tin, etc.. The work surface is domed and ideal for forming and planishing a wide variety of metals. I sell several tools that fit the tool holder included in this offering and sell these two items separately. The tool and holder weigh approx. 15 lbs. These silversmiths stakes are used for any kind of jewelry making or metal forming, by silversmiths, blacksmiths or metalworkers.
