Create an even and consistent temperature throughout the forge that can be easily adjusted via the controller while also displaying the current temperature and the amount of power as a percentage being applied to the system. Depending on the burner and forge configuration this control system will control temperatures between 650 and 1250°C. Most forges may not be able to run well under 750-800°C. It will depend on your setup. Some bigger kiln-style furnaces will work below 650°C. These kits require the forge manufacturer and operator to do some tweaking and make regular adjustments. They are not a set and forget system.

Built for safety
All electrical components will be housed in a proper steel box protecting them from metal dust, heat and impact that can be expected in and by a forge. This system includes flame failure supervision in accordance with AS3814 which shuts off the gas if the flame goes out when the forge is unsupervised. All components use 12VDC for safety if you accidentally burn or drop steel on a cable, or while running the forge.

It requires some setup but it is reasonably easy to get the hang of. It is not simply “plug and plays” Well it is as far as assembly goes, however you need to learn how to set it up for each temperature you run it at. We will have videos soon on set up.
