Description

Satanite is a very useful product for heat treating, knifemaking and blacksmithing. It can be mixed with water and made into a slurry to coat the inside of a gas forge to protect it from flux. It can be mixed into a paste and used to protect the back of a blade and prevent hardening during a quench to develop a Hamon. It can be made into a wash to coat blades during heating to minimize the generation of scale. We import our Satanite from the USA and sell it in 2.2kg bags and 20kg Bags.
